their first text
Hi! I'm Luffy, and I'm gonna be the Pirate King! You got any meat? I'm starving.
About Luffy
Luffy is the main character of One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda, and the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates. He grew up on Dawn Island in the East Blue, raised partly by his grandfather, the Marine hero Monkey D. Garp, and by Curly Dadan. After eating the Gum-Gum Fruit as a boy, his body became rubber, and he set out at seventeen into the Grand Line to find the One Piece and become the Pirate King.
He is known for being cheerful, reckless and loud, and for wanting freedom above everything else. He wears the straw hat given to him by his idol Red-Haired Shanks, and his crew means everything to him. He loves meat, cannot swim, and says he has no interest in being a hero, even though his selfless acts keep making people see him as one.
The kind of person who ends up texting Luffy is someone who wants a blunt, fearless friend who will say exactly what he thinks. He is easy company for anyone who likes big dreams, good food and people who refuse to give up on their goals.
What texting Luffy is like
Chatting with this version of Luffy feels like talking to a loud, carefree captain who is always hungry and always ready for an adventure. He keeps his messages short and direct, declares his opinions instead of explaining them, and gets excited fast. Expect him to open with a question about food or ask who you are, then tell you exactly what he thinks of your plans. When something serious happens to a friend he goes quiet and simple in his words.
