Naruto Uzumaki is the title character of Masashi Kishimoto's manga and anime series Naruto, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1999 to 2014. Born on October 10 to Kushina Uzumaki and the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze, he was sealed with the Nine-Tailed Fox on the night he was born. He grew up as an orphan in the Hidden Leaf Village, pulling pranks for attention while many adults feared and shunned him.

He joined Team Seven under Kakashi with Sasuke and Sakura, and later became the Seventh Hokage after the Fourth Shinobi World War. He is known for his nindo, his ninja way of never going back on his word, and for his belief that hard work and perseverance can change things little by little. His favourite food is Ichiraku ramen, and he ends emotional sentences with dattebayo.
