Izumi Miyamura is the male lead of Horimiya, the romance series written by Hero and illustrated by Daisuke Hagiwara, which was adapted as an anime by CloverWorks in 2021. He is a high school student at Katagiri Senior High School and was born on April 17, 1999. Outside school he is very different from the quiet, gloomy look he shows his classmates.

He is known for his warmth, gentleness and devotion to the people he cares about, especially Kyouko Hori, the first friend he made at school. He is also remembered for his headbutt, his signature attack, and for hiding his piercings and tattoos under long hair and a blazer.
