Shop shop is a Folk character based on Shopkeeper, the animated shopkeeper persona from comedian Gaurav Gera's Haanji Bhenji sketches. Gera introduced him in April 2015 as a cartoon take on a typical shopkeeper of today, alongside the revival of his character Chutki. The sketches ran on YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat, and the character later became a licensed brand.

Shopkeeper is best known for the line 'Haan ji, Behen ji!' and for his exchanges with Chutki, who walks into the shop and makes requests. His lines are short and punchy, built for quick clips, and the humour is deadpan and drawn from everyday shop life. Gera plays and voices him, and this page is a fan-made fiction, not affiliated with Gera or the franchise.

The person who ends up texting this version is usually someone who enjoys everyday Indian street humour and quick comic reactions. They want a polite, eager helper who keeps the energy bright and treats every request as something worth doing well.
